The Middle East Engineering Technologies (MEET) firm, which was formed to explore the latest trends in construction technology, has unveiled its latest proof-of-concept 3D printed house in partnership with the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTI Park).

The 90m2 structure of the 3D-printed house was constructed at the SRTI Park within two weeks.Commenting on the benefits of 3D-printed technology, the project executive at MEET, Haidar Alhaidary, told Construction Week: “3D concrete printing will be the future of construction. One of the benefits that 3D printing guarantees is up to 50% savings in time.
